About Me

My name is Ashley and I teach at a Catholic School.  I have been married since 2010 to my wonderful husband, Jeremy, and we have two daughters.  Madelyn and Lucy.  We also have a fur-baby, Indy, a Jack Russell Terrier.  We also adopted a stray cat, Saraphina....she was named after the Barbie Princess cat from Princess and the Pauper.

INTERESTING FACTS

• I have a terrible habit of twirling my hair (terrible = severely embarrassing at my age).
• My husband and I have been together since 2003.
• I am in love obsessed with minimizing - completely clear counter tops and no clutter makes my heart happy.
• I have wanted to be a teacher since 2nd grade and love children.
• I like to make the most of each day - today is the one and only today.  Be content and thankful with what God has given you.
• Although I think cupcakes are cute, I do not eat them. We try to eat very low sugar and carbohydrates.
• Anything that is pink and sparkly is better than something that isn't pink and sparkly :) .
• I am a square, goody two-shoes.

Meet Madelyn - who is mostly called goober, diva, freak, crazy or any other whacko name that describes her ever-surprising personality and antics!  She will truly put a smile on anyone's face with her special balance of spunk and sweet.  She is beautiful both inside and out and am so grateful to call her mine.

We love spending time together as a family and enjoy being outside!  Relaxing by water or even better, the ocean!  I am passing on my ambitious, creative, and do-it-yourself spirit to my daughters and trying to rub off as much of that on my husband as well.  I believe there is no project I am not willing to tackle.  We spend most days laughing and wouldn't have it any other way!
